Dear Community,
In light of the current circumstances, we have made the decision to postpone Sunday’s Annual Meeting to allow our community to focus on more immediate priorities.
We had been eagerly anticipating Sunday’s gathering, where we planned to share highlights from 2024, preview exciting plans for 2025, and celebrate our volunteer of the year and scholarship recipients.
We will be in touch as soon as we have more clarity about when we can reschedule. In the meantime, if you would like a refund for your RSVP, please email us at federation@jewishsgpv.org, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Our Jewish Federation will be holding its 30th Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Temple Beth Israel of Pomona (3033 N. Towne Avenue, Pomona). The Jewish Federation will be honoring long-time community member Robin Evans as its 2024 Volunteer of the Year for the many years of volunteering and support she has provided to the Jewish Federation and the community.

 

Devorah Lieberman, President Emerita of University of La Verne, will be the keynote speaker and will share her insight and perspectives on the current climate for Jews on college campuses. In addition, the Jewish Federation will be installing its Officers and Board of Governors as well as awarding its High School Junior Scholarship and the Kimberly Dawn Ellis Memorial Scholarship recipients.

 

The Annual Meeting is a chance to get an update on the work of the Jewish Federation, how community dollars have been used to benefit and enhance Jewish life in the greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys, and what is planned in the coming year.

 

Tribute opportunities are available to honor our Volunteer of the Year and incoming Board of Governors officers.

 

Reservations for the Annual Meeting are $30 and include an elegant catered buffet brunch. The RSVP deadline is Thursday, January 9, 2025.
