Beginning Hebrew 6:30 – 7:30pm; Exploring Shabbat – 7:45 - 8:45pm

TBI Social Hall

Rabbi Kupetz will teach this new class in a two-hour block. The first hour will be Beginning Hebrew; the second hour will be Exploring Shabbat – Understanding Our Prayerbook and Our Services.

The Beginning Hebrew class using the workbook, Aleph Isn’t Tough – An Introduction to Hebrew for Adults, provides an introduction to the Hebrew alphabet. The goal is to learn how to decode written Hebrew words while understanding their meaning in Jewish life and tradition. For Beginning Hebrew, please purchase the workbook, Aleph Isn’t Tough, by Linda Motzkin – ISBN-13:  978-0807407264 or ISBN-10: 0807407267. Either will work in the class.

Exploring Shabbat – Understanding Our Prayerbook and Our Services will delve into the structure and meaning of the prayer book that make up Shabbat worship at TBI.

Take one or both classes. They will be interactive and accessible.

Please call the TBI Office at 909.626.1277 or email tbi@tbipomona.org. to register.
