Beth Shalom of Whittier welcomes all to our pre-service dessert reception and choral Selihot service prior to the High Holyday season.  The dessert reception begins at 6:30 pm in the foyer of the Meeting House (sanctuary) of our interim home at First Friends Church in uptown Whittier.  This will be followed by the beauitful and haunting choral Selihot service in the Meeting House (sanctuary) conducted by our Hazzan Lance H Tapper, the Beth Shalom Singers (our professional choir), and Mark Peterson, our organist and choir master.
