The Stories that Moved Us in 2022

From the Ukraine crisis to rising antisemitism and hate crimes, the year 2022 brought with it a great deal of pain and polarization – but also hope, as Jewish Federations answered the calls to action.  We responded to multiple crises, convened major Jewish organizations, and mobilized our communities. Collectively, we raised and advocated for billions of dollars to build flourishing Jewish communities that are safe, inclusive, welcoming, compassionate and caring.

Here are just a few of the stories that moved us this year.  Behind each is a person, a face, a life that will thrive thanks to your support and undying commitment to ensuring flourishing Jewish life. Thank you for being part of these moments and for reminding us that there is always a reason to have hope for the future.
