The Israel Action Network helped the local Jewish community in southern Maine overwhelmingly defeat an attempted boycott referendum targeting Israel at Bowdoin College. Given the high 85 percent student body turnout relative to a small Jewish student population, the event marked a major defeat to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Movement.
