Homeland Security Nonprofit Grants to Double in Change Urged By Federations

The Nonprofit security grant program received the support of the Senate Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee to nearly double available funds to $25 million.


Since 2004, Federations have advocated for the program, which helps bolster the physical security of Jewish communities by funding communal building reinforcements and access controls, CCTV systems and more.
