260 Israeli medics and rescue personnel arrived in earthquake-ravaged Nepal

260 Israeli medics and rescue personnel arrived in earthquake-ravaged Nepal last Tuesday and set up a field hospital with 60 beds.

In nearly one week, they delivered four babies, performed dozens of life-saving surgeries and treated hundreds of injured survivors. They expect to treat hundreds more as contamination spreads deadly illnesses. View photos. (photo above courtesy IDF)
