Our Jewish Federation’s mission is to build community by strengthening and enhancing Jewish life. In January 2025, when the Eaton Fire tore through our neighborhoods, that mission became real in the most urgent way.

We reached out to families who had lost so much, often finding ourselves humbled by their resilience. One young mom, still in shock from the devastation, was overwhelmed with gratitude when we provided immediate financial support, without paperwork, without waiting, and without asking her to do anything more than focus on her children.

That’s who we are. We don’t just talk about being there for our community, we show up, right where people are, when they need us most. We are a safe and easy access point to a Jewish connection, a steady hand in times of crisis, and a reminder that no one is alone.
