EVERY PERSON HAS A NAME
“He who does not learn from history is doomed to repeat it.” - George Santayana
The Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys invites you to join us for Every Person Has a Name in observance of United Nations International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
The program will once again be held at Pasadena City Hall and will be streamed virtually. The program will include a commemoration ceremony, immediately followed by reading the names of those who were killed during the Holocaust.
Join us in person at Pasadena City Hall, or join our live stream on Facebook.
PLEASE NOTE:
If you are interested in being a volunteer reader but do not see any time slots available please send an email to Rebecca Russell at rrsussell@jewishsgpv.org. Please include your name, available time (in-person or on Zoom), and phone number. If any spots become available Rebecca will reach out to you to let you know.
Keep in mind that you can also support this event by joining us in person, or virtually (on Facebook or Zoom), and listening as the names of those murdered during the Holocaust are being read by other volunteers. And lastly, you can also share this event on your social media.
We greatly appreciate your support.
